Jerry and Ben's Cottages, Winter
If you love a traditional country cottage then Mamie’s is the one for you. This
is a very popular and cosy cottage to come home to after a day out in the Dales.
Mamie's was built in 1675 and has been carefully renovated to retain its
character and sense of history. A wood burner, wooden beams and original
features all add to the charm. There are three bedrooms and the cottage sleeps 5
with space for 2 cots. Your own little garden and private terrace have wonderful
views over our woods and grounds. More...
Paradise End Cottage
This is a perfect place for a gathering. Paradise End was rebuilt and extended in 2005
and you get plenty of space with an open plan easy to live in feel. All in all a great
family friendly place. The cottage looks out over Paradise Beck and has outstanding views
and easy access to our grounds and beyond. There are great walks and cycling straight
from the door. Four bedrooms (1 downstairs)
and can sleep 8 with space for 2 cots.More...
Robbin Middle Cottage
Robbin Middle is our smallest cottage but feels very spacious inside. It’s a popular
place with fantastic views from the sitting room over the stream and moors beyond.
It is the middle of our three cottages and sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms.
There are comfortable sofas and great views out over Hebden beck and the moors beyond.
Robbin Middle has a little terrace leading to our private grounds –
space to run around and explore our wild woodland and “Fairy Land” beyond the stream.
Here is everything from a favourite local tearoom to a bespoke wedding venue.
Ideas for where to go for take-out fish and chips to having a meal delivered to
the cottage. Suggestions for activities to book in advance – pony trekking,
cycle hire, fishing and more.More...
Where the wild things really are… Our cottages share 2 acres of gardens and across the stream
are rocks to climb, dens to build and secret places to explore. Our grounds lead straight
into ‘Fairyland’ a special area of oak and ash trees, bluebells and foxgloves. Follow the
steep and twisting path up and up and on to the Heather Field and the moors. This is a
beautiful, wild and dramatic place. All of the pictures that follow were taken within a
15 minute walk of your cottage door or on longer family walks we have taken.More...
