Paradise Cottage

All in all a great place for a lazy get together or more active holiday in the Dales. Paradise End is a large cottage perfect for gatherings of family and friends. It is named after the small beck it overlooks and has outstanding views up the valley and to the moors beyond. The well equipped kitchen (double oven, dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge/freezer) has two large pine tables with chairs and benches to offer flexible seating for up to 12 adults. There is an open plan feel to the downstairs with plenty of space on the large comfy sofas in the sitting area. There is a large Freesat TV with Netflix and lots of books and games in the snug corner of the living room. French doors lead straight onto your terrace and the great outdoors.
Four bedrooms in all: a double (5ft bed) room downstairs with a shower room with wc and basin across the hall. There are three more bedrooms upstairs: a double (5ft bed) room (space for travel cot), and 2 twin bedrooms. One twin room is small – space for the 2 beds and two chests of drawers only. The other twin is more spacious with space for travel cot.

RECENT VISITOR COMMENTS

“We spent every summer here as children – it is even more amazing than we remembered and Paradise End is fabulous. Perfect for a family gathering with everything we needed. I hope we’ll be back many times in the coming years – you have given us lots more special memories this week.” Dobbin, O’Donnell and Hynes families, May 2015

“We’ve had a fantastic week – 3 generations in Paradise End and Robbin Middle – the 2 adjacent cottages were perfect for our 2 families. We loved it all – the 5 children loved the wild garden, the freedom, the stream… I saw a kingfisher on the first morning and soon added dippers, curlews and lapwings.“ Willis family, May 2015

“We loved everything about our stay. Such a lovely house in a beautiful setting. Amazing views, the sound of nature – birds and the babbling stream. The cottage was perfect for us and the little touches and small details made it feel like a home from home. A weekend to remember.” Wilson family, June 2015
